The traveler
Meet the Dot
A small, smooth, featureless traveler who can cross worlds and does not know why.
No face. No hands. No luggage.
The Dot is just the Dot.
The Dot floats. It can measure distance precisely. It can recognize symbols. It can cross from one world to another. It has no idea why any of those things are true.
It is curious, literal, patient, emotionally sincere, and accidentally funny. When somebody says, “That is simply how the world works,” the Dot is usually already measuring something.
The opening of every Seer Worlds book:
“I am a dot. I don’t know why.”
“I am a dot. I don’t know why.”
